Sibbie Ann Jones

September 23, 1942 - January 6, 2022

Sibbie Ann Jones, 79, of Sevierville, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at the Ft. Sanders Medical Center. She was born in Blountville, TN and was the daughter of the late Hugh and Glady Rodefer Whiteman. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Ed “Casey” Jones, and her sister, Linda Harr. Ann will be missed by all who knew her but we are glad she is reunited with Ed. We are sure that they are already farming, a passion which they both loved, always working from daylight until dark. She was known as “Mamaw” to everyone. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. Those left to cherish memories of Ann include her son Mike Jones (Rosie), and her daughter, Donna Jones, grandchildren: Michelle Fox (Jason), Kasey Hill (Riana), and Kayla Shelton (Josh); great-grandchildren: Maci and Drake Fox, Kaden Hill, Kole Lum, Luke and Kealeigh Ann Shelton; several friends are also left behind. The family will honor Ann’s life during a graveside service at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, 191 Central Heights Road, Blountville, TN 37617, with Pastor Will Shewey officiating, with a celebration of life held at a later date in Sevierville. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50 pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent to either Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery fund, 191 Central Heights Road, Blountville, TN 37617, or to Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic, 312 Prince Street, Sevierville, TN 37862 or to the animal shelter of your choice.
