Margaret Ann Martin Price Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Margaret Ann Martin Price, age 87, of Kingsport, TN (formerly of Bristol, TN), passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was born on February 11, 1933 in Bristol, VA, a daughter of the late Daniel Wilson Jackson and Fanny Mae Jackson. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Brunette Martin; and brother, LeRoy Jackson and wife Mable. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson and great-granddaughter. She loved to crochet for friends and liked to challenge herself by working on word searches. Margaret loved the Lord with all her heart and she was a member of Virginia Avenue Baptist Church in Bristol, TN for many. She is survived by her two daughters, Kathy Martin and Patty Smith both of Kingsport, TN; grandson, Tim Baker (Frankfort, KY); great-granddaughter, Kristyn Baker and mother of great-granddaughter, Heather Baker (Frankfort, KY); sister-in-law, Helen Martin; nephews, Bobby Jackson and wife Valerie, Marvin Jackson, Larry Brooks, Harry Wright, Kenny Martin and Tony Martin; and cousin, Neoma Lawson Talley. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Susong Cemetery in Bristol, VA, with Pastor David Wright officiating. Pallbearers will include Tim Baker, Bobby Jackson, Harry Wright, Kenny Martin, Cody Ward and Jeremy Plaster. Friends/family otherwise wishing to give respects may call or visit the home of Patty Smith in Kingsport, TN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bristol Turning Point Church of the Nazarene, located at 1115 W. State Street, Bristol, VA 24201. The family would like to thank the staff at Holston Valley Medical Center on the fourth floor and ETSU Family Medicine both in Bristol, TN and Kingsport, TN for their compassion and attention shown Ms. Price and her family during this unusually difficult time of pandemic restrictions.
