Keith Howard Guile

Keith Howard Guile, 73, of Bristol, Tennessee, died Sunday, January 9, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Holland, Pennsylvania, to the late Ruth Polmateer Guile and Victor Vernon Guile, Sr. and had lived in Bristol the past 47 years. Keith was a proud U.S. Army veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He was a diesel mechanic and had also worked at Crowder R.V. Center. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and a long-time member of the Appalachian Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America. Keith enjoyed antique cars, woodworking, gardening, travel and was a loving husband, father and “Pop Pop.” Those left to cherish Keith’s memories include his loving wife of 51 years, Bonnie Zubler Guile; two daughters, Denise Ann Guile of Blountville and Rebecca Louise Guile of Chattanooga; three grandchildren Alexis Rae Ball, Olivia Yates and Weston McCracken; two sisters Elaine Carlson and Jean Guile; several nieces and nephews. The family will visit with friends from 5 until 7 Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Oakley-Cook Funeral Home. The family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 9 am Friday, January 14, 2022, to go in procession to Mountain Home National Cemetery, 215 Heroes Drive (State of Franklin). Keith’s life will be honored during a service at 10:00 am with full military honors rendered by D.A.V Chapter 39.
