Karen Ann Herron

June 19, 1970 - January 20, 2022

Karen Ann Herron, 51, of Bristol, TN, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at her home. She was born in Bristol, TN and was the daughter of the late Jessie L. Herron, Sr., and Rosemary Gill Herron. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Edward and Winnie Gill, her paternal grandparents, Emory and Minerva Herron. Those left to cherish memories of Karen include her brothers: Jessie L. Herron, Jr., Brian Herron and his wife Sandra; nephew, Gunner Knox Herron, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends, Cynthia Smith, Sarah Wilson and Debbie Williams Owens. The family will greet friends to share memories on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 5:00 pm until a celebration of Karen’s life at 7:00 pm at Oakley-Cook Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Sam Haynes officiating. A Committal service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday at Mountain View Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50 am. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made for Karen’s brother, Jessie’s medical care to Eastman Credit Union in care of Jessie Herron.
