Iva B. Carrier

March 22, 1934 - December 22, 2019

Iva B. Carrier, age 85, of Bristol, TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born on March 22, 1934 in Sullivan County, TN, a daughter of the late John McGarry Carrier and Nora Myrtle Booher Carrier. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by eight brothers and one sister. Iva was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She most recently worked at Bristol Regional Medical Center but also held several other factory jobs throughout her life. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her sister, Minnie Alford; special niece, Brenda Wood and husband Sam; special friends, Bobby and Lue Rogers; and several other nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Shipley Cemetery in Bristol, TN with Pastor Gary Rowlette officiating. Arrangements especially for Ms. Carrier and her family have been made through Oakley-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory.
