Gloria Faye Frederick Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Gloria Faye Frederick, 62, of Bluff City passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 following a recent cancer diagnosis. Gloria was a kind and genuine woman with an unmatched work ethic and generous soul. She loved working outside, jigsaw puzzles and collecting seashells at the beach. She also loved her family - more than anything. She left behind her devoted husband of 43 years, Rick Frederick, a daughter, Jennifer Hayes and son-in-law, Cody Hayes, and her only grandson, Richard Franklin Hayes, with whom she shared an incredibly special bond. Gloria was the middle child of 9, born to her beloved mother, Ruby Crotts Green and her late father, Vernon Green. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tony, by only a few weeks. Additional survivors include: her loving mother, Ruby Green and siblings, Glenda Worley, Dennis Green, Steve Green (Tammy), Wanda Felty, Teresa Reynolds (Scott), Jeff Green, Melissa Grubbs (Dru) and several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Gloria Frederick will be held from 5pm - 7pm on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Oakley-Cook Funeral Home with a service conducted by Rev. Gary Roe to immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests memorial contributions be made in her name at any First Horizon bank branch in Bristol or Johnson City, TN.
