Fredna "Leo" Hunsucker Taylor

June 28, 1927 - November 15, 2018

Fredna “Leo” Hunsucker Taylor, age 91, of Bluff City, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, RM and Verna Booher Hunsucker; husband, John William “J.W.” Taylor; grandson, Jonathan Taylor; brothers, Cecil and James Hunsucker; and sister, Mary Pearl Millhorn. Leo graduated Blountville High Class of 1944. She was a faithful member of Elizabeth Chapel United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Sams (Ron); daughter, Patsy Sproles (Norman); son, John Wayne Taylor (Sandra); daughter, Fredna Lawson (Steve); grandchildren, Beth, Ron, Danielle, Anthony, Jessica and Aaron; ten great grandchildren; sisters, Linda Lucas and Sandra Monger; special friends that called her “second mom”; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 17, 2018 in the Garden of Devotion at Glenwood Cemetery in Bristol, TN with Chaplain Ryan Wagoner officiating. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Amedisys Hospice for their loving care of Mrs. Taylor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elizabeth Chapel United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 1041 Elizabeth Chapel Road, Bluff City, TN 37618. Arrangements especially for Mrs. Taylor and her family have been made through Oakley-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory.
