Bessie Regina "Jane" Dishner Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Bessie Regina “Jane” Dishner, 90, of Bristol, TN, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born in Honaker, VA and was the daughter of the late Charles and Betty Ray. In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Trinkle, brother, Clyde Ray, grandson, Jason Carrier, and son-in-law, Jerry Carrier. Jane was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church in Blountville. Those left to cherish memories of Jane include her loving husband of 50 years, Albert Dishner, her children: Susan Moore (Jim), Sandra Carrier, William “Bill” Dulaney (Karen), and Don Dishner (Jenny); grandchildren: Misty Story (Marty), Christopher Cunningham, Weston and Kelin Dulaney (Alexandria), and Heather Carrier (Jason’s wife); great-grandchildren: Shelburne Ferguson IV, Noah and Macy Morton (Alex), Rylan Cunningham, Caleb, Alivia, and Ryan Carrier, Vada Dulaney; great-great-grandchild, Layla Durham, siblings: Jack Ray, Kenneth Ray, Tommy Ray, and Lottie Sparks; several nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends to share memories on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 12:00 pm until a celebration of Jane’s life at 2:00 pm at Oakley-Cook Funeral Home with Dr. Tommy Griffin officiating. A graveside and committal service will follow at Glenwood Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
