Sid Oakley founded Oakley-Cook Funeral Home in 1982 and was a co-founder of Heritage Family Funeral Services, Inc and Heritage Family Cemeteries, Inc. He retired from funeral service and from the boards of Heritage Family Funeral Services and Heritage Family Cemeteries in May of 2011 during the fiftieth anniversary year of his employment with the former Paul Cook Funeral Home of Bristol.

Adam is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He is a native of Blackwater, Virginia, and is a graduate of Rye Cove High School and of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is a member of the Bristol Chamber of Commerce and the Bristol Kiwanis Club. He and his wife, Kirby and their children, Jacob and Ella, attend Bluff City Baptist Church.

Brent is a registered funeral apprentice in Tennessee for Oakley-Cook Funeral Home. He is a Bristol native and resident and a graduate of Sullivan East High School. He holds a BS from East Tennessee State University and is working towards his Funeral Director and Embalming licenses. He is a member of the Bristol Chapter of the Kiwanis Club.

Lisa moved to Tennessee in 1996 from Pensacola, Florida. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from King College. She proudly served in the US Navy. She is married and has two daughters. Lisa and her husband volunteer at Bristol Regional Medical Center and the Haven of Rest. “It is my privilege to serve families with dignity and respect during one of the most difficult times of their lives.”

Nicole Briggs, a native of Johnson County, is a graduate of Johnson County High School. Nicole is married to Jimmy Briggs and together they have 4 precious children; Brittany, Chance, Gavin and Jaidyn. The Briggs reside in Gray, TN and attend Antioch Baptist Church.

Kenneth Tester, a lifelong resident of Bristol, is an Assistant Funeral Director. He is treasurer of the Virginia Chapter of the Post Q of the Travelers Protective Association, a member of the Gideons, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He and his wife Martha are members of Fellowship Chapel.

He and his family are members of Faith Lutheran Church in Bristol, Tennessee, where he serves on the church council.
